Siris Beej refers to the seeds of Albizia lebbeck, a large deciduous tree belonging to the Fabaceae family. Commonly known as Siris or Lebbeck tree, it is widely found across India. The seeds are traditionally used in Ayurveda and herbal preparations. They are commonly incorporated into decoctions and classical formulations. Siris seeds contain naturally occurring saponins, flavonoids, and tannins contributing to their characteristic composition.
Directions for use
